Sadaqah

Sadaqah is an Islamic term that means voluntary charity - such as a charitable act, charitable giving, or money given in charity with the intention of seeking the pleasure of Allah.

  • For those who want to donate Sadaqah but don’t want to specify a project, they can give Sadaqah in the form of cash.

AlHaqq distributes Sadaqah to people in extreme poverty in the form of cash, food (cooked, dry ration, meat), drinking water, agriculture needs (such as trees, seeds, and livestock), clothing, educational support, and medical assistance.

Sadaqah   (in the form of Sacrifice)

AlHaqq performs Sadaqah in the form of Sacrifice on behalf of our donors year round in economically depressed areas of the world and distributes the meat to the poor, many of whom would not have the luxury of eating meat otherwise.

    • Normally, the sacrifice and distribution of meat is performed within 3-4 days of receipt of donation.
    • It costs $120 for a goat or sheep, and $420 for an ox or buffalo.
